Training Disclosure & Term

Please read this disclosure carefully before enrolling in any SK Injector Academy training program. By registering for and attending any SK Injector Academy course — whether online, in-person group training, or private 1:1 training — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Educational Purpose Only

All SK Injector Academy training programs are educational in nature. Completion of any SK Injector Academy course does not:
  • Constitute a medical license or certification to practice
  • Grant legal authority to perform any medical procedure
  • Guarantee competency, proficiency, or clinical readiness
  • Replace or substitute for required clinical supervision, residency, or other formal training requirements
  • Guarantee employment, income, or professional opportunity
The Certificate of Completion provided upon finishing an SK Injector Academy course confirms attendance and participation in the educational program. It is not a professional certification, board certification, or license.

2. Scope of Practice & State Regulations
It is solely your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws, regulations, and scope of practice requirements in your state, territory, or country.
Scope of practice for medical professionals — including Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Physicians (MDs/DOs) — varies significantly by jurisdiction. What is permitted in one state may be prohibited or restricted in another.
Before offering any treatment learned in SK Injector Academy training, you must:
  • Verify that the procedure is within your legal scope of practice in your state
  • Confirm any supervision, collaboration, or oversight requirements (e.g., physician supervision for NPs or PAs)
  • Obtain any additional certifications, licenses, or approvals required by your state board
  • Comply with facility and business licensing requirements for medical aesthetics in your jurisdiction
SK Injector Academy does not provide legal advice and cannot advise you on the specific requirements in your state. You are encouraged to consult your state licensing board, a healthcare attorney, or your professional association for guidance.

3. Hands-On Training
In-Person Training (1:1 and Group) SK Injector Academy offers hands-on training on volunteer models during in-person programs. All hands-on training is conducted under the direct supervision of Sarah-Kate Rems, NP, or another qualified instructor.
Participation in hands-on portions of training is subject to the following:
  • Licensure verification: All attendees must provide proof of current, valid medical licensure (RN, NP, PA, MD/DO) prior to participating in hands-on training.
  • Liability insurance: All attendees must carry current professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
  • Instructor discretion: The instructor has final authority on whether an attendee may perform a procedure on a model. This decision is based on patient safety, attendee skill level, licensure, and other factors.
  • Model consent: All volunteer models sign informed consent forms prior to any treatment. Attendees must respect model boundaries and follow all consent protocols.
Hands-on practice in a training environment does not substitute for supervised clinical experience in a real practice setting. Skill development is ongoing and requires continued practice under appropriate supervision.
Online TrainingOnline courses are didactic (educational) only and do not include hands-on practice. Video demonstrations are intended to illustrate techniques but do not replace in-person training or supervised clinical experience.

4. Certificate of Completion vs. Professional Certification

SK Injector Academy provides a Certificate of Completion to attendees who successfully complete a training program. This certificate:
  • Confirms your attendance and participation in the educational program
  • Documents the techniques and topics covered in your training
  • May be used in your professional portfolio and marketing materials
This certificate is not equivalent to certification from a national certifying body (such as the Cellular Medicine Association, AANP, or medical specialty boards). If you require specific certifications for your practice, consult the relevant certifying organization directly.

5. Continuing Education (CE/CME) Credits
SK Injector Academy courses are not currently accredited for Continuing Medical Education (CME) or Continuing Education (CE) credits. If CE/CME credits are required for your license renewal, you are responsible for obtaining those credits through accredited programs.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability
By participating in SK Injector Academy training, you acknowledge and agree that:
  • Medical aesthetic procedures carry inherent risks, including during training
  • You assume full responsibility for your own actions during and after training
  • SK Injector Academy, its instructors, and affiliated entities are not liable for any adverse outcomes, complications, or legal issues arising from your application of techniques learned in training
  • You will maintain appropriate professional liability insurance when applying training in clinical practice

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
In-Person Training (1:1 and Group)
  • Cancellations made 30+ days before training: Full refund minus $500 administrative fee
  • Cancellations within 30 days: May be rescheduled once without penalty; no refunds
  • No-shows: No refund or reschedule

Online Courses
  • Due to the digital nature of online courses, all sales are final once course access is granted. No refunds will be issued after you have accessed course materials.

8. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
All course materials, protocols, videos, handouts, and other content provided by SK Injector Academy are the intellectual property of SK Injector Academy and/or Sarah-Kate Rems, NP. You may not:
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials
  • Record, screenshot, or capture video content

  1. You have read and understand this Training Disclosure in its entirety
  2. You are a licensed medical professional (or understand that hands-on training may be limited based on licensure)
  3. You accept sole responsibility for verifying your scope of practice and legal requirements in your jurisdiction
  4. You understand that training completion does not guarantee competency or authorize independent practice
  5. You agree to the cancellation, refund, and intellectual property terms outlined above
